This year I finally took my SAT exam. I took it November 7th and felt like I did great on the English part. It was a very hard test but I got through it; now I'm just waiting for my results. I am glad to mention I got recommended for an internship job on business. Of course I accepted because I know it will be a great experience and I was told if they like me they will ask me to work for State Farm, however I will be getting paid minimum wage. So, right now I am waiting to get called and begin training for my soon to be job.
Likewise, my parents have always been proud of me on how I constantly have good grades. They know I have been stressing a little over my senior year, due dates on grades, projects, college applications etc., anyhow I’ve preserved my grades with 3’s & 4’s. So far all I need to accomplish before the semester ends is my level 4 projects for my AP Spanish Language and Careers and Education 2 class. My senior project is turning out really good. Although I have had difficulties with it on how to put pictures in a collage instead of a slide show. I feel like a collage will look better than just a slide show. I actually enjoy working on my senior project. I love to be creative with designing it and choosing different fonts, colors and pictures. Also, to be honest I like to do journals and reflect on my past and think of my future. Even though senior year is stressing there are a few things I am enjoying about this year. First of all, I liked having to take my senior pictures and choosing my own place to take them and after that sending it to the Yearbook class so they can put it on the yearbook. Also, I like sitting on the senior side during a rally because I love how intense and loud we get.
Some steps I’m taking to prepare myself for my post-graduation life is to go to a community college to take my general classes. Once I am done with that I will transfer to Fresno State so that I can finish my degree there. Right now at this moment I don’t know exactly what I want to be because before my first choice was to be a teacher, but then I got into business. I have been taking accounting classes I love it; I am currently enrolled in accounting ll. Now that I got into business I don’t know if I want to be a teacher or an accountant. Of course, throughout college I’m hoping to work at the same time to pay any expenses while living at an apartment. I am grateful for everyone in my family that support me in accomplishing my goals. They always bring me up with I’m feeling down and always tell me I can do it.
